The Position

As part of the Onboarding Team, you will be responsible for reviewing KYC/KYB applications and conducting due diligence reviews using internal and third-party screening tools. This includes:

  • Conducting reviews of onboarding applications to ensure they fall within nanopay’s risk tolerance and KYC/KYB methodology;
  • Communicating with clients for information as needed to fulfill due diligence requirements;
  • Escalating any complex files and provide recommendations to management for decisioning; 
  • Remaining abreast of new guidelines and updates from regulatory/industry partners, e.g., FinTRAC; and
  • Developing and sharing best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes.

Who are you?

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business, criminology, or similar, or equivalent work experience;
  • At least one year of experience in financial services, compliance, fraud or other related fields;
  • Exceptional client management and communications skills;
  • Confident, high energy, self-motivated and a true team player;
  • Well-organized, with high attention to detail and ability to prioritize; and
  • Bilingual (English/French) capabilities are an asset.
